Good evening everyone,
I am nearing 500 subscribers, and I haven’t posted in awhile, so I wanted to catch everyone up. I also wanted to say thank you to everyone, especially my paid subscribers, for supporting my work. I presume if you follow me here, as opposed to Twitter, you are most interested in my writing and I am honored by that fact.
My novella Give Up The Ghost plods on. This is my first true long form and the most plot-centric work I have written, so it is slow going but I am learning more than I knew I would and truly believe it will be worth the wait.
I am also drafting an essay in the vein of ‘Cthulhu Turns Right’ currently titled ‘Techno-Creationism’, which ponders a new aesthetic for the techno-human synthesis inherent to accelerationism and its consequences.
Lastly, my fiction podcast Book Maggot (available on Spotify and, eventually, iTunes) has five episodes released, most recently with Zero HP Lovecraft. Listen to the silky, smooth sounds of yours truly doing literary deep dives with dissident authors over the themes and ideas that led to and are within their recent works. I’m actually very pleased with how this has gone so far.
My podcast and entry into the prestigious writing competitions just announced—Passage Prize 3 and MAN’S WORLD—will be on hiatus until I finish the novella, but I will be posting my new essay, hopefully, by the end of the year. Again, my gratitude to you all. Should you not hear from me before then, I wish you a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
P.C.M. Christ
